Sayyiduna al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to do seven things and forbade us from seven: "Visiting the sick, following funerals, responding to one who sneezes, fulfilling oaths, helping the oppressed, spreading the greeting of peace (salam), and accepting invitations." And the seven things he forbade: "Gold rings, silver vessels, red silk saddle-cushions, silk garments, fine cloth, thick silk, and ordinary silk."
