أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الْإِيَادِيُّ الْمَالِكِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ النَّصِيبِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: " أَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ خَيْبَرَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ يُبْنَى عَلَيْهِ بِصَفِيَّةَ " فَدَعَوْتُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى وَلِيمَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا كَانَ فِيهَا خُبْزٌ وَلَا لَحْمٌ وَمَا كَانَ إِلَّا أَنْ " أَمَرَ بِالْأَنْطَاعِ فَبُسِطَتْ وَأُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهَا التَّمْرُ وَالْأَقِطُ وَالسَّمْنُ، فَقَالَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ: إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ هِيَ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ؟ قَالُوا: إِنْ حَجَبَهَا فَهِيَ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَحْجُبْهَا فَهِيَ مِمَّا مَلَكَتْ يَمِينُهُ، " فَلَمَّا ارْتَحَلَ وَطَّأَ لَهَا خَلْفَهُ وَمَدَّ الْحِجَابَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ " ⦗٤٢٣⦘ رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، وَأَخْرَجَاهُ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ كَذَلِكَ فِي التَّمْرِ وَالْأَقِطِ وَالسَّمْنِ، وَقَالَ: فَحَاسُوا حَيْسًا، وَكَذَلِكَ فِي رِوَايَةِ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ السَّوِيقُ بَدَلَ الْأَقِطِ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed for three nights between Khaybar and Madinah, and Sayyidah Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I invited the Muslims to the wedding feast (walimah) of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), in which there was neither bread nor meat. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that leather mats be spread, and dates, ghee and pieces of aqit (dried cheese) were placed on them. The Muslims said: Is she one of the Mothers of the Believers or a slave woman? They said: If he has her observe the veil, she is one of the Mothers of the Believers; if he does not have her observe the veil, she is a slave woman. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) set off, he (peace and blessings be upon him) made a place for her behind him on his mount and screened her from the people.
(b) Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates likewise that there were dates, cheese, ghee and the like, and he said: They also made hays (a sweet dish). In another narration of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), the word sawiq (barley meal) comes in place of aqit (cheese).
