أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، أنبأ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: " الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ هُوَ الزَّوْجُ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The one in whose hand is the marriage tie" [Surah al-Baqarah: 237] means the husband.
