أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، ثنا عَبَّاسٌ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ شَابُورَ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ قُوِّمَتْ خَمْسَ دَرَاهِمَ " وَهَذَا أَشْبَهُ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) married a woman of the Ansar for gold equal to the weight of a date stone, whose value was five dirhams.
