Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married a woman of Banu Ghifar. When she was brought in to him, he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw white patches on her side, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) moved away from her and said: "Cover yourself," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) let her go and took nothing from her.
Abu Ahmad (Ibn Adi) said: Jamil bin Zayd is alone in narrating this hadith, and the narrators from him are inconsistent about it. It is narrated from him in this way (from Ibn Umar), and Isma'il bin Zakariyya also narrated it from Jamil bin Zayd, from Ibn Umar, with this meaning. It is also said from him, from Sa'id bin Zayd, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); and from him, from Abdullah bin Ka'b; and from him, from Ka'b; and from him, from Ka'b bin Zayd or Zayd bin Ka'b. Al-Bukhari said: His hadith is not authentic.
