وَأَمَّا الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ فَيْرُوزَ، عَنْ مَعْبَدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةَ حُذَيْفَةَ مَجُوسِيَّةً "، فَهَذَا غَيْرُ ثَابِتٍ وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ نَكَحَ يَهُودِيَّةً، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Ma'bad al-Juhani said: I saw the wife of Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), (and she was) a Magian. This is not established; rather, what is correct is that Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) married a Jewish woman.
