أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ ⦗٢٧٥⦘ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ بُهْلُولٍ الْأَنْبَارِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُتْبِعُ الْمَرْأَةَ حَرَامًا أَيَنْكِحُ ابْنَتَهَا، أَوْ يُتْبِعُ الِابْنَةَ حَرَامًا أَيَنْكِحُ أُمَّهَا؟ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يُحَرِّمُ الْحَرَامُ الْحَلَالَ، إِنَّمَا يُحَرِّمُ مَا كَانَ بِنِكَاحٍ حَلَالٍ " قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ: وَبِهِ نَأْخُذُ.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who commits zina with a woman: may he marry her daughter? Or who commits zina with her daughter: may he then marry her mother? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The unlawful does not make the lawful unlawful; only what was through a lawful marriage makes (things) unlawful." Ishaq said: Abdullah bin Nafi' said: And this is what we adopt.
