وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْمُجَبِّرِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَهَبَ سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ لِابْنِهِ جَارِيَةً وَقَالَ لَهُ: " لَا تَقْرَبْهَا، فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَرَدْتُهَا، فَلَمْ أَنْبَسِطْ إِلَيْهَا ".
Abd al-Rahman bin al-Mujabbir (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) gifted a slave-girl to his son and said: Do not go near her. I had intended (to be with) her, but I did not stretch out my hand towards her.
