Bayhaqi 13884 — Evidence that the verse is restricted to the occasion
اُردوEn
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْجَزَّارِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " هُمَا زَانِيَانِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا "، ⦗٢٥٣⦘ فَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مَا دَلَّ عَلَى الرُّخْصَةِ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: They are both fornicators until they separate.
