أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبُوشَنْجِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَالْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ كَانَا يَقُولَانِ " فِي الرَّجُلِ تَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ أَرْبَعُ نِسْوَةٍ فَيُطَلِّقُ إِحْدَاهُنَّ الْبَتَّةَ، أَنَّهُ يَتَزَوَّجُ إِذَا شَاءَ، وَلَا يَنْتَظِرُ حَتَّى تَمْضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا ".
Urwah bin al-Zubayr and al-Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on them both) both said, concerning a man who has four wives and divorces one of them irrevocably, that he may marry whenever he wishes and need not wait for her waiting period to pass.
