وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الشَّهِيدُ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا وَلْيَدْعُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَلْيَقُلْ " فَذَكَرَهُ وَزَادَ وَإِنْ كَانَ بَعِيرًا فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِذِرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Ibn Ajlan (may Allah have mercy on him) also mentioned similar to it: that he should take hold of its forelock, pray for blessing and say.
