Bayhaqi 13620 — There is no marriage without a guardian

Uthman bin Sa'id al-Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Yahya bin Ma'in (may Allah have mercy on him): "In the narrations of Abu Ishaq, is Sharik dearer to you or Isra'il?" He said: "Sharik is dearer to me, and he is earlier; and Isra'il is saduq (truthful)." I asked: "Is Yunus bin Abi Ishaq dearer to you or Isra'il?" He said: "Each of them is thiqah (trustworthy)."
