أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ، ثنا رَوْحٌ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ شَبِيبٍ قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا عَنِ الزِّينَةِ الظَّاهِرَةِ فَقَالَتْ: " الْقُلْبُ وَالْفُتْخَةُ وَضَمَّتْ طَرَفَ كُمِّهَا ".
Umm Shabib (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I asked Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "What is meant by the 'apparent adornment' [Surah An-Nur: 31]?" She said: "The bracelet and the ring," and she moved both her sleeves.
