It is narrated from Ibn Ishaq that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married Asma' bint Ka'b al-Jawniyyah and divorced her before consummation. Amrah bint Zayd (may Allah be pleased with her) was a woman of Banu Kilab and then of (Banu) al-Wahid, who had previously been married to al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him); the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) married her and divorced her before consummation. So he (Ibn Ishaq) named the two whom Imam al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) had not named, and he did not mention al-Aliyah.
