Bayhaqi 13409 — His ﷺ distributing his hair among his Companions

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " لَمَّا رَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجَمْرَةَ، وَنَحَرَ هَدْيَهُ نَاوَلَ الْحَلَّاقَ شِقَّهُ الْأَيْمَنَ، فَحَلَقَهُ، فَنَاوَلَهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ شِقَّهُ الْأَيْسَرَ، فَحَلَقَهُ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُقْسَمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ "، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَرَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had stoned the Jamrah and offered his sacrifice, he presented the right side of his head to the barber, who shaved it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave that hair to Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). Then he presented the left side to him and he shaved it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to "distribute it among the people."
