أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْجَبَّارِ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلَانِ فَأَغْلَظَ لَهُمَا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لِمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْكَ خَيْرًا، مَا أَصَابَ مِنْكَ هَذَانِ خَيْرًا، فَقَالَ: " أَوَ مَا عَلِمْتِ مَا عَاهَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ رَبِّي؟ " قُلْتُ: وَمَا عَاهَدْتَ عَلَيْهِ رَبَّكَ؟ قَالَ: " قُلْتُ اللهُمَّ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ مَغْفِرَةً وَعَافِيَةً "، وَهَكَذَا رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Two men came in to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he was displeased with them. I said: O Messenger of Allah, everyone receives good from you, but these two have not received any good from you. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not know what covenant I have made with my Lord?" I said: What covenant have you made? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I said: O Allah, whichever believer I revile or curse, make it for him a means of forgiveness and well-being."
