أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: {لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ، وَلَا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ} [الأحزاب: ٥٢] " قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: فَحَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: " مَا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى أُحِلَّ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ، وَإِنَّمَا أُحِلَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَهُ وَذَلِكَ بَيِّنٌ فِي الْآيَةِ وَالْخَبَرِ ".
Ibn Jurayj (may Allah have mercy on him) said concerning the saying of Allah Almighty: "Women are not lawful for you after this, nor that you exchange them for other wives" [Surah al-Ahzab: 52], that Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pass away until Allah Almighty made it lawful for him to marry; and those (women) were made lawful who had emigrated with him (peace and blessings be upon him), and this is clear in the verses.
