أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَسْلَمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: كُنَّا يَوْمًا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إِذْ جَاءَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ أَعْرَابِيَّةٌ فَقَالَتْ: يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَا ابْنَةُ خُفَافِ بْنِ إِيمَاءٍ، شَهِدَ أَبِي الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ عُمَرُ: " نَسَبٌ قَرِيبٌ "، قَالَتْ: تَرَكْتُ بَنِيَّ وَمَا يُنْضِجُ أَكْبَرُهُمُ الْكُرَاعَ، فَأَمَرَ لَهَا عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِحِمْلِ مُوْقِرٍ طَعَامًا وَكِسْوَةً، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَكْثَرْتَ لَهَا يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَقَالَ: " شَهِدَ أَبُوهَا الْحُدَيْبِيَةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَعَلَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ فَتْحَ مَدِينَةِ كَذَا، وَفَتَحَ مَدِينَةِ كَذَا، فَحَظُّهُ فِيهَا، وَنَحْنُ نَجْبِيهَا، أَفَلَا أُعْطِيهَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ؟ " أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ.
Zayd bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from his father that he said: One day we were with Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) when a Bedouin woman came and said: O Commander of the Believers, I am the daughter of Khufaf bin Ima' (may Allah be pleased with him); my father was present at al-Hudaybiyah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A close lineage. She said: I have left behind my little children, and the eldest of them cannot even cook a sheep's trotter. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) ordered for her a camel laden with food and clothing. A man said: You have given her too much. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Her father was present at al-Hudaybiyah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and perhaps he took part in the conquest of such-and-such a city and such-and-such a city, so his share is in it, and we are collecting its revenue; shall I not give her from that?
