فِيمَا أَجَازَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ رِوَايَتَهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، أنا الرَّبِيعُ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ قَالَ: حَدِيثُ مَكْحُولٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلٌ، أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ حَضَرَ خَيْبَرَ بِفَرَسَيْنِ، فَأَعْطَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسَةَ أَسْهُمٍ؛ سَهْمًا لَهُ، وَأَرْبَعَةَ أَسْهُمٍ لِفَرَسَيْهِ، قَالَ: وَلَوْ كَانَ كَمَا حَدَّثَ مَكْحُولٌ أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ حَضَرَ خَيْبَرَ بِفَرَسَيْنِ وَأَخَذَ خَمْسَةَ أَسْهُمٍ، كَانَ وَلَدُهُ أَعْرَفَ بِحَدِيثِهِ وَأَحْرَصَ عَلَى مَا فِيهِ زِيَادَتُهُ مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى قَالَ فِي الْقَدِيمِ فِي غَيْرِ هَذِهِ الرِّوَايَةِ: وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ، عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ وَافَى بِأَفْرَاسٍ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ، فَلَمْ يُسْهَمْ لَهُ إِلَّا لِفَرَسٍ وَاحِدٍ.
Makhul narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as mursal that Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was present at Khaybar with two horses, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him five shares: one share for him and four shares for his horses. Al-Umari narrates from his brother that al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) took part on the day of Khaybar with several horses, but a share was allotted for him for only one horse.
