وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ حَمَّادَ بْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مِيرَاثِ الْمَجُوسِ، فَقَالَ: " يَرِثُونَ بِأَحَدِ الْوَجْهَيْنِ، الْوَجْهِ الَّذِي يَحِلُّ " وَرُوِيَ هَذَا الْقَوْلُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَمَكْحُولٍ.
Hammad bin Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Hammad bin Abi Sulayman (may Allah have mercy on him) about the inheritance of Magians, and he said: They inherit by one of the two aspects, the aspect that is lawful.
