حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَرِثُ الْكَافِرُ الْمُسْلِمَ، وَلَا الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A disbeliever does not inherit from a Muslim, nor does a Muslim inherit from a disbeliever."
