أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَا: ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، ثنا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، وَأَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُرِقْهُ، ثُمَّ لِيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُجْرٍ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog laps from the vessel of one of you, let him pour it out, then wash it seven times."
