أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " وَرِثَ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتَ عُمَرَ دَارَهَا، قَالَ: وَكَانَتْ حَفْصَةُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَدْ أَسْكَنَتِ ابْنَةَ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ مَا عَاشَتْ، فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَتِ ابْنَةُ زَيْدٍ قَبَضَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْمَسْكَنَ، وَرَأَى أَنَّهُ لَهُ، وَرَدَّ فِي الْعَارِيَةِ دُونَ الْعُمْرَى، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ ".
Nafi' says that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) inherited the house of Sayyidah Hafsah bint Umar (may Allah be pleased with her). Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) had let the daughter of Zayd bin al-Khattab live in it for as long as she lived. When the daughter of Zayd died, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) took the house and considered it his. This is reported concerning a loan ('ariyah), not an 'umra; and Allah knows best.
