Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Salman! Use every food and drink into which a creature that has no blood falls and dies, for eating it, drinking it and performing ablution with it is lawful." (b) Baqiyyah narrated it like the previous narration.
(c) Abu Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The hadiths that Sa'id al-Zubaydi narrates are, in general, not mahfuz (preserved). (d) Al-Hafiz Ali bin Umar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that no one but Baqiyyah narrates from Sa'id al-Zubaydi, and he is da'if (weak).
