أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " يُغْسَلُ الْإِنَاءُ مِنْ وُلُوغِ الْهِرِّ كَمَا يُغْسَلُ مِنْ وُلُوغِ الْكَلْبِ " هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ ابْنُ عُفَيْرٍ مَوْقُوفًا وَرُوِيَ عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْفَرَجِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُفَيْرٍ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ وَقَدْ قِيلَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي خَيْرُ بْنُ نُعَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَوْقُوفًا..
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The vessel is to be washed from a cat's putting its mouth into it, just as it is washed from a dog's putting its mouth into it.
Ibn Ufayr narrated it thus as mawquf (a saying of the Companion); it has also been narrated from Rawh bin al-Faraj, from Ibn Ufayr, as marfu', and that is worthless.
