أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ح. وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ بِنَيْسَابُورَ وَأَبُو الْقَاسِمِ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الصَّقْرِ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْآدَمِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَصَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولَاهُنَّ - أَوْ أُخْرَاهُنَّ - بِالتُّرَابِ " وَالسِّنَّوْرُ مَرَّةً وَرَوَاهُ أَيْضًا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَرْفُوعًا مُدْرَجًا فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَرِوَايَةُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَوْلَى، وَرَوَاهُ هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فِي سُؤْرِ الْهِرِّ يُهَرَاقُ وَيُغْسَلُ الْإِنَاءُ مَرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ.
(a) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog puts its mouth into the vessel of one of you, wash it seven times, the first or the last time with dust; and for a cat, once."
(b) Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says regarding the leftover of a cat that it is to be poured away and the vessel washed once or twice.
Ja'far bin Waqid also narrated it from Ibn Awn, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah as marfu', inserted into the hadith; but the narration of the majority (of narrators) is more correct.
(b) Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says regarding the leftover of a cat that it is to be poured away and the vessel washed once or twice.
