أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا طَارِقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالَ: جَاءَ رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ إِلَى مَجْلِسِ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ: " لَقَدْ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَوْمَ فَذَكَرَ أَشْيَاءَ " وَقَالَ: " نَهَانَا عَنْ كَسْبِ الْأَمَةِ إِلَّا مَا عَمِلَتْ بِيَدِهَا " وَقَالَ هَكَذَا بِأُصْبُعِهِ نَحْوَ الْغَزْلِ وَالْخَبْزِ وَالنَّقْشِ.
Tariq bin Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi said: Rifa'ah bin Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the gathering of the Ansar and said: Today the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us certain things; he forbade us "the earnings of a slave-woman except what she earned with her own hand", and he gestured with his finger, like spinning, baking bread and embroidery.
