أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْعَبَّاسَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ يَقُولُ: أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ.
Yahya bin Ma'in (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Abu al-Zubayr's (may Allah have mercy on him) hearing from Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) is not established.
