Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A pledged animal may be milked and may also be ridden." The narrator said: I mentioned this to Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him), and he said: They used to dislike deriving any benefit at all from a pledge.
