Bayhaqi 11171 — The payer gives generous weight, and the weigher
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا صَفْوَانَ مَالِكَ بْنَ عَمِيرَةَ يَقُولُ: " بِعْتُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِجْلَ سَرَاوِيلَ قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَلَاثَةِ دَرَاهِمَ، فَوَزَنَ لِي فَأَرْجَحَ لِي ".
Malik bin Amirah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Before the Hijrah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bought from me cloth for a pair of trousers for three dirhams. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me three dirhams and gave me extra as well.
