أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي الْمُقْرِئَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ: جَلَبْتُ أَنَا وَمَخْرَفَةُ الْعَبْدِيُّ بَزًّا مِنْ هَجَرَ أَوِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِمِنًى أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاشْتَرَى مِنِّي سَرَاوِيلَ، قَالَ: وَثَمَّ وَزَّانٌ يَزِنُ بِالْأَجْرِ، فَدَفَعَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الثَّمَنَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ " زِنْ وَأَرْجِحْ " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ..
Sayyiduna Suwayd bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Makhrafah and I (may Allah be pleased with them both) brought cloth from Hajar or Bahrain. When we were at Mina, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) bought a pair of trousers from me. He said: There was a weigher there who weighed for a wage. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him the price and said: "Weigh, and give good weight."
