وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا حَامِدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ، ثنا مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا يَسُومُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ، وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا، وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا، وَلَا تَسْأَلُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا؛ لِتُكْفِئَ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا وَلِتُنْكَحَ، إِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهَا " أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man should not send a marriage proposal over the proposal of his brother, nor should anyone bargain over the bargain of his brother; a woman should not be married while her paternal aunt or her maternal aunt is (her co-wife) (that is, they should not be combined); and a woman should not demand her sister's divorce in order to take her share of provision, but rather she should marry while she remains, for she will have only what has been decreed for her."
