Bayhaqi 10747 — Reports on the runaway camel being returned

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The animal that bolts and runs away is to be returned," meaning the camel that bolts and runs away.
(b) Abd al-Salam narrates concerning a man who bought a camel; it stayed with him for a while, then it ran away. He brought it to its (former) owner, who accepted it. Then this was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The camel that runs away is to be returned."
