وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصٍ الْمُقْرِئُ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، فِي الرَّجُلِ تُصِيبُهُ الْجَنَابَةُ وَبِهِ الْجِرَاحَةُ يَخَافُ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ، قَالَ: " فَلْيَتَيَمَّمُ وَلْيُصَلِّ ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding a man who becomes junub while he has a wound and fears that if he takes a ritual bath he will die: He should perform tayammum and pray.
