أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ فِي آخَرِينَ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ، وَعَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ بِالتَّمْرِ " قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْخَصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا ".
Salim narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade selling fruit before it ripens, and also forbade selling fruit for dried dates."
(b) Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "granted a concession in the 'ariyyah sale."
