Bayhaqi 10580 — The fruit of an orchard whose trees are sold

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him), the freed slave of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), said: "Whatever date palms are sold after having been pollinated, and the fruit is not mentioned, the fruit belongs to the one who pollinated them." Likewise the slave and the crop; Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) named these three.
(b) Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates the hadith about the date palms, and the hadith about the slave is reported from Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him).
