Sunan ad-Daraqutni 980 — The virtue of praying at the beginning
ثنا ابْنُ مَنِيعٍ ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، ثنا قُتَيْبَةُ ، ثنا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلالٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا الآخِرِ إِلا مَرَّتَيْنِ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the prayer at its last time throughout his life until he passed away, except on two occasions.
