بَابٌ فِي كَرَاهِيَةِ إِمَامَةِ الْمُتَيَمِّمِ الْمُتَوَضِّئِينَ
Chapter on the dislike of a person performing tayammum leading those with ablution
Sunan ad-Daraqutni 714 — on the dislike of a person performing
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، نا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : " لا يَؤُمُّ الْمُقَيَّدُ الْمُطْلَقِينَ وَلا الْمُتَيَمِّمُ الْمُتَوَضِّئِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A person in chains should not lead the free people in prayer, and a person performing tayammum should not lead those who have performed wudu in prayer."
