Sunan ad-Daraqutni 473 — on what is narrated about sleeping while
قُرِئَ عَلَى قُرِئَ عَلَى أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مَنِيعٍ ، وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ : حَدَّثَكُمْ طَالُوتُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ، نا أَبُو هِلالٍ ، نا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَأْتِي مَسْجِدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَنَامُ فَلا نُحْدِثُ لِذَلِكَ وُضُوءًا " . صَحِيحٌ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to come to the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and we used to sleep there, but we would not perform ablution again (after sleeping). This narration is authentic.
