لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ
No bequest for an heir
Sunan ad-Daraqutni 4153 — No bequest for an heir
نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No bequest can be made in favor of an heir."
