حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ ، نا أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، يَقُولُ : " كِتَابَةُ الْحَدِيثِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ مَوْضِعِهِ " .
Yahya bin Abu Zaida says: It is better to write down a hadith than not to write it down.
