Sunan ad-Daraqutni 3334 — Book of Hudud, Blood Money, and Others
نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ ، نا يَعْقُوبُ ، نا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا زَنَتْ أَمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَضْرِبْهَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ لَا يُثَرِّبْ عَلَيْهَا ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَتْ فَمِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَتْ فَمِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَتْ فَمِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَتِ الرَّابِعَةَ فَلْيَضْرِبْهَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لِيَبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ» .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man's slave-girl commits adultery, he should punish her (with lashes) according to the command of Allah's Book, but he should not verbally abuse her. If she does it again, he should do the same. If she does it yet again, he should do the same. If the slave-girl commits it a fourth time, he should punish her with lashes according to the command of Allah's Book and then sell her, even if it is for a rope made of hair."
