Sunan ad-Darimi 72 — The Generosity of the Prophet
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ زَمْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: "كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَيِيًّا، لَا يُسْأَلُ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ".
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was very modest, and whenever anything was asked of him, he would grant it.
