أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: "مُعَلِّمُ الْخَيْرِ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ، حَتَّى الْحُوتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Everything seeks forgiveness for the one who teaches goodness, even the fish in the sea.
