Hadith 3176

It is narrated from Laith that Tawus (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Women do not inherit the right of wala’ except for the (wala’) of the one whom they (themselves) set free, or the one who sets free the person whom they had set free.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 3175)

Women will not be entitled to the right of wala’ (patronage) through the emancipation done by someone else; they will only be entitled to the wala’ of those whom they themselves have set free, or, in the absence of the rightful heir, the wala’ (right of inheritance) of the one freed by their freed slave will be for the women.
And Allah knows best.
