أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمْيَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، وَمَكْحُولٍ , عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ السِّهَامُ حَتَّى تُقْسَم".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling shares before their division.
