Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would turn to his right side after the prayer.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Ahadith 1388 to 1390)

That is, he turned towards the worshippers on the right side.

From these ahadith, evidence is found for turning towards the congregation on both the right and left sides. Due to the ahadith of Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu and the virtue of the right side, the scholars have preferred turning towards the worshippers from the right side. If both practices are acted upon, it is better.
