Silsilah as-Sahihah 540 — Ruling on sitting and praying behind

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam leads the prayer sitting, then all of you should also perform the prayer sitting."
