Silsilah as-Sahihah 3916 — Black Stone was sent down white; why did it

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Black Stone descended from Paradise, it was whiter than snow, but the sins of the children of Adam made it black."
