Silsilah as-Sahihah 3182 — When was the Prophet’s prophethood decided?

Sayyiduna Maysarah Fajr رضي الله عنه says that I asked: O Messenger of Allah! When were you written as a Prophet? He صلى الله عليه وسلم replied: "At the time when Sayyiduna Adam عليه السلام was between soul and body."
